...A Monster...The faint cry of a rooster from the village signaled the sun's appearance over the horizon. The monster stretched his long arms and legs, his tail becoming stiff as it tried to get rid of the lingering side-effects of sleep. He didn't bother to jump out of the tree he had taken shelter in; instead, he teleported to the ground through the Shadows' power that the fox had taught him years ago. His eyes could see silhouettes of slow moving villagers as they prepared to carry out the morning's chores. The females began hot meals; the males started opening shops; and the spawns followed their birth-givers closely like the Plague. A fange...A Monster...
